Riding posture Moving off intermidiate breaking Gear shifting to 1st-4th Going round the bend
First Stage All students will have to line their bike straight facing a yellow sponge. Instructor will ask you to throttle slowly and break by closing the throttle and to stop behind the yellow cushion Everyone will do this at least for 7 times. Some students might fall over but its ok. Just focus on your balance and stopping distance. This exercise will familiarise you to the bitting point of the bike. Listen to your bike when the engines gonna stall it will sound differently so that's when you know when to throttle for your bike to move forward.
Second stage You will be asked to around ride around the roundabout. There will be red cones to guide you. Remember that you need to stop smoothly at the white line, so prepare your stops in advance by breaking intermediately using your foot break. Before coming to a full break you will need to use both the hand break and foot brake clutch in and stop in 1st gear . When moving off throttle a little more but be mindful of the biting point, do not over throttle. Always look out at the bends. Do not look at your feet or meter. Do not keep your foot hanging but placed correctly on foot brake. Do not ride very fast it is not a competition. You will do this for at least 5 rounds and after the instructed will teach you how to change to second gear. Now you will ride your bike from 1st gear to 2nd gear and before coming to a stop changing back to 1st gear. You will do this repeatedly. How you balance your bike is also important. Adjust the speed by throttling smoothly. Remember that your instructed is always accessing you.
